Video iPod and an iMac that’s a PVR in disguise
Everybody said Apple was going to announce a video iPod today, but insiders at Apple told us they weren't. Turns out they did, though.
And better yet, the new iMac has a freakin' remote, making it a real entertainment hub. So now my next PVR will play Flash animations, too! And World of Warcraft! And, um… Photoshop.

So what do you think?

From all the research I’ve done, the imac does not include a REAL PVR. You cannot record TV shows on this thing.
Editor’s Reply: Not out of the box, true. But the addition of something like EyeTV makes it more than capable. Add the large flat screen and handy remote from the new iMac, and I’ve got a nice little standalone entertainment unit.
What’s the point of buying an all-in-one iMac G5 if you’ve got to buy separate TV tuner? It makes the whole all-in-one idea a bit pointless.
Still, it looks gorgeous… I want one!
