Not enough money. Nobody could afford to take time away from their main job to do this, even if they were super coders and could do it in a single week of hacking all day, that's like $5/hour. 2. Too short of a deadline 3. Didn't get enough exposure for your project, not enough people heard about it, so fewer potential people entering Suggestion: Make it a longer running deadline, and try and get other people to donate as well. If you can get say $1000 or $2000, this would have a lot more weight. Here are my thoughts on why there were no entries:
